Greenway del Lago di Como
La Greenway del Lago di Como è una passeggiata di circa 10km che collega Colonno con Cadenabbia, seguendo l’”Antica Strada Regina”, lontana dal traffico delle strade percorse con i mezzi di trasporto. Queste stradine percorribili unicamente a piedi o in bicicletta attraversano caratteristici borghi, fornendo scorci panoramici sul lago e sulle montagne circostanti.
Durante questa passeggiata passerete attraverso sette borghi: si parte da Colonno e si passa da Sala Comacina, Ossuccio, Lenno, Mezzegra, Tremezzo, per arrivare alla fine a Cadenabbia. Il percorso ha una durata di 2 ore e 30 minuti circa, ma sicuramente opterete per allungare questo tempo fermandovi a curiosare nei numerosi punti di interesse dai quali si passa. Potrete infatti scendere a Sala Comacina per far visita all’isola, raggiungibile tramite un boat taxi, fare una sosta a Lenno per vedere da vicino Villa Balbianello o fermarvi a Tremezzo per fare un giro nei giardini di Villa Carlotta, una delle dimore più belle e conosciute di tutto il lago per la sua architettura ed il suo giardino botanico.

The Greenway of Lake Como is a walk of about 10km that takes
tou from Colonno to Cadenabbia, following the” Antica Strada Regina”, away from
the traffic of the roads. These narrow streets that crosses characteristic
villages can only be traveled on foot or by bicycle and thay will permit you to
admire panoramic views of the lake and the surrounding mountains.
During this walk you will pass through seven villages: starting from Colonno and passing by Sala Comacina, Ossuccio, Lenno, Mezzegra, Tremezzo and finally arriving in Cadenabbia. The route lasts about 2 hours and 30 minutes, but you will certainly opt to extend this time by stopping to browse the numerous points of interest that you will find durimg the tour. In fact, you can get off at Sala Comacina to visit the island, reachable by a taxi boat, or have a stop in Lenno to visit Villa Balbianello or you can also have a stop in Tremezzo and do a tour of the gardens of Villa Carlotta, one of the most beautiful and known villas of the lake for its architecture and its botanical garden.
